    KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Reggie Chamberlain scored 23 points, including five 3-pointers, to lead UMKC over Houston Baptist 73-51 on Tuesday night.

    The Kangaroos (7-4) began with an 8-0 run and never trailed. They shot 47.5 percent from the field and took their largest lead of 22 points for the final score.

    Bakari Lewis helped out with 15 points for UMKC while Jay Couisnard added 14 and Spencer Johnson scored 13.

    Michael Moss led the Huskies (1-10) with 18 points while T.J. Berry scored 10 of the team's 19 bench points.

    Houston Baptist finished shooting 40 percent from the field.
