TOLEDO, Ohio -- Freshman forward Delino Dear scored 19 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for his first career double-double as Toledo defeated Indiana Northwest 80-44 on Tuesday night.
The win was the third straight for the Rockets (3-9), who led throughout against the RedHawks (1-13), an NAIA opponent.
Ahead 44-31 with 18:40 remaining, Toledo broke the game open with an 18-0 run over the next 4:41 to take a 62-31 lead.
The Rockets shot 50.9 percent (29 of 57) to 25.9 percent (15 of 58) for Indiana Northwest, outrebounded the RedHawks 50-32 and outscored them 36-14 in the paint.
Adam White scored 18 points to lead Indiana Northwest, making 6 of 15 3-point shots.
