FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- Rotnei Clarke scored 22 points to lead Arkansas to a 67-59 victory against Texas Southern on Wednesday night.
Clarke scored eight consecutive points during a 14-1 run midway through the second half that gave the Razorbacks (8-2) the lead for good. Clarke hit two 3-pointers during the stretch.
Texas Southern (2-8) pulled within 62-59 on a Kevin Galloway 3-pointer with 2:41 remaining, but did not score again.
Glenn Bryant punctuated the victory with a pair of high-flying dunks in the closing minutes for Arkansas.
Travele Jones scored 15 points to lead the Tigers.
