JONESBORO, Ark. -- Kinley Ogbonnaya-Branch finished with a career-high 19 points and six other Arkansas State players scored in double figures as the Red Wolves posted the largest margin of victory in school history, 120-39 over Central Baptist on Tuesday night.
Martavius Adams added 18 points, Brandon Peterson and Adam Sterrenberg each had 14, Edward Townsel finished with 13 and Trey Finn 11 for Arkansas State (5-8), which matched the school record for points in a game.
The Mustangs, an NAIA team which counted this game as an exhibition, shot just 24.2 percent and none of their players scored more than eight points.
Arkansas State had more field goals in the first half (22) then Central Baptist had in the game (15). The Red Wolves shot 60.9 percent overall, including 13 of 26 from 3-pointer range, outrebounded the Mustangs 56-28 and scored 42 points in the paint.
