MUNCIE, Ind. -- Jarrod Jones scored a career-high 25 points to pace Ball State to an 80-68 victory over North Carolina A&T on Friday.
Jesse Berry added 15 points, Chris Bond had a career-best 13 and Tyrae Robinson contributed 10 for the Cardinals (7-4), who are 4-0 at home. Malik Perry just missed a double-double with nine points and 10 rebounds. Jones added nine rebounds.
Nic Simpson scored 18 points for the Aggies (5-8), who lost their fifth straight and are 1-8 away from home.
Ball State held advantages of 45-30 in rebounding and 38-22 on points in the paint.
The Aggies led by as many as nine early before Berry tied it at 20 on a 3-pointer with 9:36 left in the first half. His layup 29 seconds later gave the Cardinals a permanent lead.
