Jared Sullinger takes over in final minute to help Ohio State stay unbeaten
COLUMBUS, Ohio -- With the game on the line, Ohio State played like a No. 1 team.That's exactly what they might be soon.Freshman Jared Sullinger scored 19 points and hit a three-point play with 13.2 seconds left to lift the second-ranked Buckeyes to a 69-66 victory over Penn State on Saturday.
•The Buckeyes' 18-0 start is their best since starting 22-0 in 1961-62. They are 5-0 in Big Ten play for the first time since 2001-02, when they started 6-0.
•The Nittany Lions were looking to knock off their third straight ranked opponent after beating Michigan State and Illinois in their previous two games. They have never beaten three straight ranked teams.
•Aaron Craft's 19 points were a career high for Ohio State.
•The Buckeyes are 13-0 under Thad Matta against Penn State.
