DAVIDSON, N.C. -- Cameron Rundles scored 22 points and had three steals to lead Wofford to a 69-64 win over Davidson on Saturday night.
The Terriers (8-9, 5-1 Southern Conference) never trailed in the second half but had trouble putting Davidson away. Rundles knocked down two free throws to give Wofford a 61-53 lead with 1:22 to play.Davidson used a 9-2 run, cutting the margin to two points on Nik Cochran's 3-pointer with 46 seconds left. Wofford's Terry Martin made a free throw that put the Terriers up 67-64 with 6 seconds left.The Wildcats (8-9, 2-4) failed to tie the game when Cochran turned the ball over, helping to preserve the win for Wofford.J.P. Kuhlman led Davidson with 14 points and Cochran had 11.The Terriers shot 7 of 13 from beyond the arc.
