GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Thomas Coleman had 28 points, 11 rebounds and seven blocks to lead North Carolina A&T to an 84-74 overtime victory over South Carolina State on Saturday.
Coleman scored North Carolina A&T's first seven points of overtime, helping the Aggies take a 78-74 lead with 1:24 remaining. He also had three rebounds, a block, a steal and an assist in OT and scored the final point for the Aggies (9-10, 4-2 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference), who have won two of three games.
Coleman entered averaging 14.9 points and 10.9 rebounds a game.
South Carolina State (5-13, 1-4) didn't score after tying the score at 74 on Brandon Riley's free throw with 2:32 left in OT.
