SAN MARCOS, Texas -- Tony Bishop had 20 points and 11 rebounds to lead Texas State to a 73-62 victory over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Wednesday night.

Ryan White also had 20 points for the Bobcats (8-11, 3-2 Southland). Cameron Johnson scored 13 points and John Bowman had 10 for Texas State, which has won six of its last nine following a seven-game losing streak.

Demond Watt had a double-double for Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, with 20 points and 12 rebounds. Garland Judkins scored 12 points and Justin Reynolds had 10 for the Islanders (7-13, 2-4).
