ARLINGTON, Texas -- Bradley Gay scored 21 points and Texas-Arlington pulled away in the second half to beat Central Arkansas 93-70 Monday.

Jordan Reves added 15 points and Bo Ingram had 12 for the Mavericks (11-10, 5-3 Southland), who shot 66.7 percent.

Imad Qahwash led the Bears (5-17, 1-8) with 19 points and Mike Pouncy had 17.

Trailing 50-49 after Central Arkansas' Duane Claiborne hit a 3-poiner with 15:33 to play, Texas-Arlington pulled ahead for good with a 12-3 run then added on to its lead in the final minutes.

The Mavericks took a 43-38 lead into halftime but couldn't maintain their advantage as the Bears opened the second half with a 9-2 run. After Ingram's tip-in tied it at 47, Brandon Edwards scored on a layup to put Texas-Arlington up 51-50 with 15:08 to play, and the Mavericks never trailed again.
