PRINCETON, N.J. -- Dan Mavraides grabbed a crucial rebound and hit a free throw with 4 seconds left in overtime as Princeton edged Pennsylvania 62-59 on Tuesday night for the Tigers' seventh straight win.

Princeton (17-4, 5-0 Ivy League) led by 13, at 48-35 with 8:44 to go, but the Quakers (9-10, 3-2) tied it at 56 on a Tyler Bernardini 3-pointer.

After Penn took a 59-56 lead in overtime, Ian Hummer made a layup with 45 seconds left and Douglas Davis hit 1 of 2 free throws to tie it with 16 seconds to go. Hummer's two foul shots 3 seconds later made it 61-59.

Penn's Fran Dougherty missed a layup with 6 seconds left and Mavraides rebounded, then made the first of two foul shots. Zack Rosen pulled down the rebound, but missed a 3 at the buzzer.

Mavraides, Davis, Patrick Saunders and Mack Darrow scored 11 apiece while Hummer had 11 rebounds.

Bernardini's 19 points led the Quakers.
