MT. PLEASANT, Mich. -- Brandon Bowdry scored 27 points Saturday as Eastern Michigan closed out the regular season with a 69-50 victory over Toledo.
Bowdry also had 10 rebounds, six assists and three steals as the Eagles (9-21, 5-11 Mid-American) snapped a three-game losing streak and finished as the No. 11 seed for the conference tournament. Eastern Michigan will travel to No. 6 Akron in the first round on Tuesday.
Toledo (4-27, 1-15) lost for the 13th straight time and will carry the No. 12 seed into the MAC tournament, where it meets No. 5 Ohio on Tuesday.
Eastern Michigan, which shot 52 percent from the floor, led 58-49 with 6:22 left in the game and used a 9-0 run to put it out of reach.
