TULSA, Okla. -- Damen Bell-Holter grabbed 11 rebounds, scored 11 points and made the three-point play that put Oral Roberts on top with 24 seconds left in a 61-55 come-from-behind win over Southern Utah on Saturday night.
The Eagles (6-2, 1-0 Summit) trailed for much of the second half, including by eight points with about 4 1/2 minutes to go. But they rallied after that, scoring 16 points and holding the Thunderbirds (4-4, 0-1) to just two.
Bell-Holter made a jumper with 1:36 left to bring the Eagles within a point. A little more than a minute later he made the go-ahead layup while being fouled, then sank the free throw to make it 57-55.
Michael Craion led the Eagles with 15 points while Roderick Pearson added 10.
