CEDAR FALLS, Iowa -- Jake Koch scored 21 points Saturday to lead Northern Iowa to its eighth straight victory, a 67-51 decision over Milwaukee.

Anthony James added 13 points and Johnny Moran 12 for Northern Iowa (9-1), which shot just 37 percent but outrebounded Milwaukee 33-28 and forced 15 turnovers while committing only six.

Kaylon Williams' 16 points led Milwaukee (8-2), whose four-game winning streak ended. Kyle Kelm -- who made every shot he took with three 3-pointers, a basket and a free throw -- added 12, and James Haarsma scored 10.

Northern Iowa was up 22-18 late in the first half before James scored five to close the half for a 27-18 lead. Then James and Seth Tuttle hit two free throws apiece to make it 31-18 with 18:17 left. Milwaukee could get no closer than six the rest of the way.

Northern Iowa's only loss came Nov. 15 against Saint Mary's, Calif.
