    CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. -- Dontay Hampton led six Chattanooga players in double figures with 15 points and the Mocs routed Spalding 98-48 on Tuesday night.

    Drazen Zlovaric added 14, Ricky Taylor 13, Keegan Bell and Omar Wattad chipped in 12 points each and Ronrico White had 11 for Chattanooga, which snapped a four-game skid.

    The Mocs (3-7) shot 57.4 percent from the floor (31 of 54).

    Chattanooga, which leads the Southern Conference with 8.5 steals per game, had 11 against the Golden Eagles (1-7), who turned it over 23 times, leading to 33 Mocs' points.

    Bell, who ranks No. 9 in the nation in assists with seven a game, dished out eight of Chattanooga's 22 against Spalding.

    Spalding coach Kevin Gray returned to Chattanooga, where he played from 1973-76 helping the Mocs finish as national runner-ups in 1976.

    Tyler St. Julian led Spalding, of Division III, with 11 points.
