HOUSTON -- Arsalan Kazemi had 20 points and 16 rebounds to pace Rice to a 109-51 rout of Louisiana College on Wednesday night.
Kazemi also had four steals and three assists while playing just 21 minutes for the Owls (7-2), who won their fourth game in a row.
While the Owls shot 53 percent (37 of 70), Louisiana College was limited to 29 percent (21 of 73), including 4 of 29 from 3-point distance. Rice, whose largest lead was 63 points, also held a 55-35 rebounding advantage.
Both teams were coming back from long layoffs after breaking for final exams. Rice had not played in 11 days, and Louisiana College in eight.
