KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Trinity Hall scored a career-high 27 points and UMKC defeated Canisius 72-67 on Friday night.
Canisius led by 10 midway through the first half, but UMKC rallied and closed to within 31-30 at halftime. The Kangaroos shot 50 percent from the field after halftime, 41 percent overall, and built a 14-point lead with 13:35 to go. Canisius stayed in it by going 18 for 19 from the free-throw line in the game.
