FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Eddie Murray scored 11 points and grabbed 14 rebounds, and Florida Gulf Coast used strong shooting to beat Toledo 83-80 Thursday night.
The Rockets (7-5) shot 45.2 percent from the field (28 of 62) but were just 13 of 21 from the free-throw line.
Toledo led 77-76 with 2:39 remaining but, after Brett Comer hit a pair of free throws to put Florida Gulf Coast back on top, the Rockets couldn't force a 14th lead change.
Dante Holmes made both his foul shots to put the Eagles up for good, 80-82, with 1:02 left, and Toledo went 0 of 3 from 3-point range the rest of the way.
Julius Brown paced the Rockets with 29 points.
