TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Ian Hummer had 25 points and 15 rebounds and Douglas Davis had 25 points -- including a pair of 3-pointers in the third overtime -- as Princeton outlasted Florida State 75-73 on Friday night.

The Seminoles trailed 27-10 at the half but stormed back to tie the game at 47 and force overtime.

Both Florida State and Princeton had opportunities to win the game in the first two overtimes.

The Seminoles' Bernard James missed the front end of a 1-and-1 with the game tied at 53 with 1.8 seconds left in the first overtime.

Douglas missed a 3-pointer at the end of the second overtime for Princeton (7-7). Douglas played all 55 minutes of the game, and Hummer played 53 minutes for the Tigers.

Florida State made just 11 of 22 free-throw attempts -- and 3 of 10 in the three overtime periods. James made just 1 of 6 free-throw attempts in the game, which marked the Seminoles' first triple-overtime game in program history.

Denton Koon added seven points and 10 rebounds for Princeton, which made 27 of 65 shots (41.5 percent) from the field.

Michael Snaer scored 20 points on 8-of-16 shooting, with all of those points coming after a scoreless first half. Ian Miller added 17 points for Florida State (8-5), which lost for the first time in eight home games this season.

The Seminoles scored 10 first-half points, breaking the mark for their worst first half in Tallahassee. Florida State shot 4 of 24 from the floor (16.7 percent) and was 0 for 11 from beyond the 3-point arc in the first half.

Turnovers hurt Florida State early. The Seminoles had 11 turnovers in the first half but finished the game with 16.

Florida State regrouped in the second half, shooting 15 of 25 from the floor (60 percent).
