FARGO, N.D. -- Taylor Braun scored 18 points, including the go-ahead free throws with 6.9 seconds left, and grabbed a key rebound to seal North Dakota State's wild 55-54 win over UMKC on Thursday night.

Reggie Chamberlain had given UMKC the lead on a jumper with 11 seconds left. As Braun drove to the basket, he was tripped by Thomas Staton and sank the ensuing foul shots for the 14th lead change of the game.

Chamberlain followed with a missed 3-pointer in the final seconds and Braun collected the rebound to secure the win.

Marshall Bjorklund added 15 points and TrayVonn Wright had 11 for the Bison (12-4, 5-2 Summit), who trailed by 10 in the second half before a 13-0 run to take a 49-46 lead with 3:04 left. It was North Dakota State's eighth consecutive home win.

Chamberlain led the Kangaroos (7-12, 1-6) with 16 points, and Estan Tyler scored 12.
