MACON, Ga. -- Langston Hall scored 17 points and had seven assists as Mercer used a strong shooting performance to defeat Kennesaw State 81-51 in an Atlantic Sun Conference game Friday night.
Hall hit 5 of 6 shots from 3-point range for the Bears (13-7, 5-2), who shot 62 percent (31 of 50) overall and 65 percent (13 of 20) from long range.
Jakob Gollon scored all 11 of his in the first half, including two 3-pointers that began an 11-0 opening run by Mercer.
The Owls (3-15, 0-7), who lost their sixth straight, trailed 32-21 at halftime but pulled within 34-30 with 16:34 remaining. Mercer answered with a 12-0 burst that included three baskets by Coursey.
