HAMMOND, La. -- DeShawn Patterson scored 14 points and Roosevelt Johnson tallied a double-double, leading Southeastern Louisiana to a 67-55 win over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Saturday night.

Elgin Bailey added 11 points, while Johnson scored 10 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for the Lions (7-8, 1-2 Southland Conference), who have won consecutive games for the first time since November. Jeremy Campbell also chipped in 10 points.

Myron Dempsey sank a free throw to put the Islanders up for the first and last time. The Lions went on a 20-7 run from that juncture and led the rest of the way. They were up 32-26 at the break and outscored the Islanders 35-29 in the second half to seal it.

Dempsey led the Islanders (2-14, 1-3) with 12 points and Chris Hawkins-Mast added 11. Texas A&M-CC was trying for two straight wins for the first time this season after an 11-game losing skid.
