DALLAS -- Marcus Jordan scored 17 points, and Isaiah Sykes and Tristan Spurlock added 15 apiece, to lead UCF to a 59-52 victory at SMU on Saturday.

The Knights (17-6, 6-3 Conference USA) trailed 29-28 at halftime but started the second half on a 14-2 run and maintained the lead the rest of the way. The Mustangs (10-13, 2-7) came within 49-48 on Jalen Jones' three-point play with 4:28 left before UCF put it away on 3-pointers by Spurlock and Jordan, and at the free-throw line.

Jones tied a career high with 16 points for SMU. Robert Nyakundi had 15 points but no other Mustang scored more than five points.
