BROOKINGS, S.D. -- Nate Wolters had game highs of 22 points and eight assists as South Dakota State won its 15th straight home game, beating Buffalo 86-65 on Saturday.

Griffan Callahan hit three 3-pointers and scored 21 points for the Jackrabbits (22-7), a Summit League team for whom the BracketBusters victory was its third in a row. Tony Fiegen added 11 points.

Mitchell Watt led the Bulls (16-8) with 15 points and eight rebounds. Zach Filzen scored 13 and Tony Watson 11, and each player made three 3-pointers.

Buffalo, which dropped its second straight, never led. But the Bulls trailed only 21-18 late in the first half when the Jackrabbits went on a 10-0 run for a 31-18 edge with 2:44 before the break.

The Bulls never got closer than nine after that, and the lead peaked at 23 points in the final minutes.
