MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Marsell Holden scored 17 points and Morehead State coasted to a 75-39 win over Eastern Illinois on Thursday night.
The Eagles outscored Eastern Illinois 30-5 over the final 13 minutes of the first half and led 37-11 at the break. Morehead State cruised in the second half and led by at least 30 points during the final 5 minutes.
The Panthers made only 5 of 22 field goal attempts in the first half while Morehead State hit 15 of 30 in that span. The Eagles shot 53.1 percent (26 of 49) for the game, including making 10 of 20 from 3-point range.
Jeremy Granger scored 16 points to lead the Panthers (12-16, 5-10), who were held to their lowest point total of the season.
