NEWARK, Del. -- Devon Sadler scored 21 points Delaware closed out the regular season by beating Northeastern 82-72 on Saturday for its eighth win in a row.
The win gave Delaware (17-12, 12-6 Colonial Athletic Association), which split the season series with Northeastern, its most victories since the 2000-01season.
The Blue Hens had their best shooting game of the season, making 54.2 percent (26 of 48) of their field goal attempts. Delaware also hit 24 of 31 from the line.
A 3-pointer by Threatt gave Delaware its biggest lead at 56-39 with 14:45 left. The Blue Hens led by at least eight the rest of the way.
