BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- Jordan Swing scored 22 points, including knocking down four 3-pointers, as UAB held on to beat Tulsa 68-64 on Wednesday night, extending the Blazers' season-best winning streak to four straight games.

Cameron Moore added 18 points for UAB (14-14, 9-6 Conference USA), which led by eight points at halftime and won despite being outscored by the Golden Hurricane 40-36 in the second half.

The Blazers outshot Tulsa 47.1 percent (24 of 51) to 37.9 percent (25 of 66) from the floor, including a 40 percent (6 of 15) to 18.2 percent (2 of 11) advantage from 3-point range.

Shooting was not their strong suit, but the Golden Hurricane won the battle of the boards 45-33 and outscored UAB in the paint 42-30.

Jordan Clarkson had 21 points to pace Tulsa (17-12, 10-5), which has lost three of its last six to drop into third place in the conference.
