PRINCETON, N.J. -- Ian Hummer scored 18 points and T.J. Bray added 10 for Princeton as the Tigers beat Yale 64-57 on Friday night for their sixth win in seven games.

The Tigers (17-11, 8-4 Ivy league) led nearly the entire way, opening on a 23-8 run for a nine-point halftime lead. Princeton held on for the win despite being outscored 29-27 in the second half.

Princeton avenged a Feb. 4 loss at Yale.

The Tigers outshot the Bulldogs 46.9 percent (23 of 49) to 37.7 percent (20 of 53) from the floor. They were outrebounded 35-28, but forced 13 Yale turnovers. Princeton outscored Yale 34-26 in the paint, 16-4 in bench-scoring and 6-0 off the fastbreak.

Greg Mangano tallied a double-double to lead the Bulldogs (19-8, 9-4), who have lost two of their last four contests.
