NEW YORK -- Jarvis Threatt scored nine of his 29 points in overtime, and Delaware beat Bryant 108-107 on Saturday night at Madison Square Garden.
Threatt's two free throws with 1:01 left in overtime gave the Blue Hens (6-6) the lead for good at 103-101. He and Davon Usher both made two more free throws to give Delaware a six-point lead with 19 seconds to play.
Corey Maywood and Dyami Starks hot 3-pointers around one free throw by Threatt for the final margin.
Starks matched his career high with 35, including going 8 of 9 from 3-point range. Alex Francis had six of his 32 points in overtime for the Bulldogs.
There were eight lead changes and eight ties in the final 10 minutes of regulation.
Usher gave Delaware a 94-93 lead on his own putback with 46 seconds left. After a missed drive by Bryant's Corey Maywood, Kyle Anderson of Delaware made one of two free throws with 13 seconds left, and Francis tied it at 95 with .8 seconds left.
Bryant finished 11 of 18 from 3-point range (61.1 percent) and shot 56.9 percent (37 of 65) overall.
Delaware shot 49.4 percent from the field (38 of 77) but the Blue Hens turned 19 offensive rebounds into 23 second-chance points. They committed just four turnovers in the game.
The game was part of the BlackRock Gotham Classic.
