ALBANY, N.Y. -- Brett Bisping scored 17 points and gathered seven rebounds as Siena cruised to win over Monmouth 70-54 on Sunday.
Despite making just 2 of 11 3-point attempts, Siena (15-16, 11-9 Metro Atlantic) had little trouble with Monmouth (11-20, 5-15). The Saints used a 13-2 run early to take control in the first half en route to a 35-23 lead at the break.
The second half featured much of the same. Rob Poole's layup just over 6 minutes after intermission put Siena up by 21 and the Saints held that advantage throughout.
