ESPN'S TAKE
Jim Donnan Marshawn Lynch providing the punch for powerful Cal running game was expected, but a big key for the Bears was the performance by QB Steve Levy. His solid play allowed Cal's offense to be balanced. QB John Beck, the wide receivers and offensive line were impressive for BYU, but Cal's defense made just enough stops and benefitted from some tipped balls. -- Jim Donnan
