Louisville DE Stanley to miss Gator Bowl with injury
LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Louisville defensive end Montavious Stanley tore a muscle in his chest and will miss the Gator Bowl against No. 12 Virginia Tech on Jan. 2.
Stanley, a senior, will undergo surgery on his torn left pectoral on Friday.
He started all 11 games for the 15th-ranked Cardinals (9-2), registering 48 tackles and 5½ sacks. Freshman Adrian Grady will replace Stanley. Grady has 24 tackles and two forced fumbles in 11 games,
