I had a solid week, going five over .500 against the line, putting me at 16 over for the season. Last week's recap: the good, picking Georgia Tech to beat Georgia; the bad, picking Missouri to beat Kansas; the ugly, picking Florida State to hang with Florida.

Here are this week's guesses:

Thursday, Dec. 4

Rutgers 41, Louisville 24: The Rutgers offense has been sizzling in the second half of the season as its young O-line has matured, which has taken some pressure off QB Mike Teel. U of L has some firepower offensively, but won't be able to keep up in this shootout.

Friday, Dec. 5

Ball State 44, Buffalo 27: Turner Gill has done a terrific job at Buffalo, and he does have a very capable, balanced attack, but Ball State QB Nate Davis is playing at a different level: the same lofty level the Heisman-hopeful quarterbacks are on. Expect Davis to put on another show Friday night.

Saturday, Nov. 29

Oklahoma 41, Missouri 21: The Tigers' offensive line still struggles against good defensive fronts, and OU is loaded on the D-line. Sam Bradford also should pick apart a defense that Todd Reesing just carved up. Still, I don't see the Sooners going over 60 points for the fifth game in a row.

Boston College 13, Virginia Tech 10: Neither team has a dynamic offense, and even though Tech's QB Tyrod Taylor is much more dangerous than his counterpart, I think the salty BC front seven will outplay the Hokies' group.

USC 49, UCLA 6: The Bruins are simply too undermanned to hang with USC. The Trojans' awesome D will swarm through a very shaky O-line and outscore the Bruins by themselves, even without USC's offense pitching in.

Florida 28, Alabama 20: The Tide are the most physical team in the SEC. Their D could try to maul the Gators, while Bama's run game is potent enough to shorten the game and afford the Tide the chance to not get blown out in the first half, as Florida has done to so many other teams. Still, it wouldn't be enough, as the Gators' vaunted special teams will prove to be the difference.

Arizona State 31, Arizona 30: Is Mike Stoops' job still on the line? The inconsistent Wildcat offense should be able to handle ASU in a shootout, but I'm playing a hunch that Dennis Erickson rallies his club in its pursuit of its sixth win.
