Miami's Parrish feeling better after hard hit
CORAL GABLES, Fla. -- Miami receiver Roscoe Parrish was in stable condition at a Tallahassee hospital Sunday, one day after being hit hard in the chest against Florida State.
Parrish, one of the team's top playmakers, left Saturday's game in the second quarter after cornerback Stanford Samuels knocked him to the ground on a crossing route. He was taken to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital, where test results showed no internal bleeding, coach Larry Coker said Sunday.
