Receiver still seeking return to USC

Mike Williams met with NCAA officials in Los Angeles in his bid for reinstatement to USC's football team, the Los Angeles Times reported in Tuesday's editions.

Williams declared for the NFL draft as a sophomore with the Trojans on the heels of a court ruling that initially allowed former Ohio State running back Maurice Clarett, who led the Buckeyes to the national championship after the 2002 season, his freshman year.
