Ex-world record holder tested postive for 'roids in '90
COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Olympic gold medalist and former world record holder Butch Reynolds is joining Ohio State's football staff to help with strength and conditioning.
Reynolds, a native of Akron, starts his new position on Monday.
A 1991 graduate of Ohio State, Reynolds set the world record in the 400 meters with a time of 43.29 seconds in 1988 at the Zurich Grand Prix. He won a gold medal in the 1,600-meter relay and a silver in the 400 at the 1988 Olympics.
