Hawaii coach collapses, hospitalized

Hawaii Warriors: Hawaii defensive line coach Vance Singletary was taken to a local hospital after collapsing in the coaches' booth during the first half of Saturday night's game against New Mexico State.

Singletary, 39, was unconscious for several minutes. He was treated by a fire official in the next booth, regained consciousness but was disoriented as he was taken away.

Singletary, in his seventh year at Hawaii, is the nephew of former Chicago Bears linebacker Mike Singletary.
