Daniel passes Smith as Missouri's career passing leader

COLUMBIA, Mo. -- Chase Daniel became Missouri's career passing leader in style on Saturday, hooking up on an 80-yard scoring pass to Jeremy Maclin.

The pass came on the first play of Missouri's second possession and gave the Tigers a 14-0 lead over Nevada 2:58 into the game. Daniel hit Maclin in stride on a crossing pattern of about 10 yards, and the speedy receiver outran everyone the remaining 70 yards to the end zone.
