Eastern Michigan to part ways with Genyk after season finale

Another college football coach has been shown the door, this time in the Mid-American Conference.

Eastern Michigan coach Jeff Genyk was fired Monday morning, the university announced. Genyk will coach the Eagles for their final game against Central Michigan on Friday.

According to the Ann Arbor News, athletic director Derrick Gragg made the decision after speaking with university president Susan Martin.
