Charge against freshman dropped

Ohio State freshman offensive lineman Mike Adams had a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia dismissed Monday in Franklin County Court.

Adams and Buckeyes teammate J.B. Shugarts, another freshman offensive lineman, faced the charge after police found a pipe in their car during a traffic stop Jan. 14 in Columbus. Both men pleaded not guilty.
