Interim coach Quinn wants shot at job

CINCINNATI -- Jeff Quinn's last stint as a head coach lasted only one game. He's hoping to stay at Cincinnati (No. 3 BCS, No. 4 AP) a lot longer.

The Bearcats' offensive coordinator became interim coach last week when Brian Kelly left for Notre Dame. Quinn is in charge of getting Cincinnati (12-0) ready to play Florida in its first Allstate Sugar Bowl appearance.
