Dolphins' Edwards hired at Florida

Florida has hired Miami Dolphins linebackers coach George Edwards as defensive coordinator.

Edwards will succeed Charlie Strong, who became head coach at Louisville.

Edwards has 11 seasons of experience as an NFL assistant, including one as coordinator.
