DE Derrick Mitchell emerges at Jacksonville UA combine filled with D-I prospects

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- For the second straight year, defensive lineman Derrick Mitchell (Jacksonville, Fla./First Coast) showed up at the Jacksonville Under Armour combine and made a statement.

Last March, he emerged as a potential Division I defensive end prospect with an excellent performance as a rising junior. On Sunday at the Jaguars' practice facility, he showed why some are talking about him as one of the top defensive line prospects in the Southeast for the 2011 class.
