Mark Hudspeth hired at La.-Lafayette

LAFAYETTE, La. -- Louisiana-Lafayette has hired Mississippi State assistant coach Mark Hudspeth as the Ragin' Cajuns' football coach.

The university has confirmed the hiring and scheduled a formal introduction Monday for Hudspeth, who spent the past two seasons as Mississippi State's wide receivers coach and passing game coordinator.
