Gene Stallings helping out after storms
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- Gene Stallings, the former head football coach at the University of Alabama, is among those helping emergency workers after the state was slammed by storms.
Stallings was out Thursday grilling hamburgers for emergency workers in a parking lot along a mostly demolished street in Tuscaloosa. The college town was especially hard-hit by the storms that spawned tornadoes and left more than 250 people dead across six states.
