Bohannon takes over as Kennesaw State's 1st coach

KENNESAW, Ga. -- Brian Bohannon has formally taken over as Kennesaw State's first football coach.

Bohannon was introduced at a news conference Tuesday on the campus in suburban Atlanta. The Owls are launching an NCAA Division I program that will begin play in the Football Championship Subdivision in 2015.

Bohannon is a long-time assistant to Georgia Tech coach Paul Johnson, spending the last five years working with quarterbacks and B-backs. He'll be moving to a fledgling program that ...
