Ragin' Cajun tailgating
It's no secret that Cajun people love food, music and drinks, which make the parking lots around Cajun Field on Louisiana-Lafayette game days as festive as anything you might encounter on Bourbon Street or in the French Quarter. In short, it's one big party. Fans are out in full force hours before the game whether the Cajuns are winning, losing or hovering around .500. You never know who you might run into, a political candidate one game or bunch of fraternity brothers the next. As Louisiana-Lafayette sports information director Daryl Cetnar says, "That's kind of the Cajun way. There's always a party going on ... win or lose." -- Chris Low
ESPN.com's Signature Moment
The tailgating has become so popular for Ragin' Cajun games that some fans never see the first play. And while no beer is sold inside the stadium, it's not hard to find a beer tent somewhere outside the stadium.
