Charles White dives for a three-yard touchdown against Michigan in the second quarter of the 1979 Rose Bowl, and everyone but the officials notices that he fumbled before he crossed the goal line. The Trojans take a 14-3 lead and go on to win, 17-10. As the legendary Jim Murray wrote after the game, crazy me, I always thought you had to have the ball to score a touchdown.
