Users respond to ESPN.com's Bottom 10
UTEP displaced Buffalo's as the Bottom 10's No. 1 team, but the users seemed to be as interested in Auburn, K-State and a few others.
Here's what you had to say about the Week 2 rankings:

Losing to USC and Ga. Tech and placing them in the top Bottom 10 is pretty rough. If they should be on the list, it should be in front of UTEP. From top 10 to Bottom 10, that's the Auburn Tigers for ya.

Auburn in the Bottom 10? Auburn has some problems, but let's not be extreme here.

How can you rank Tulsa below Auburn when they had almost as many yards as Arkansas? Also ... Tulsa's offense has scored!
Larry MecomHarrison, Ark.
How can you rank Auburn in this category? Yes, they were overrated, but by all means, it's the S.E.C.! Has anyone forgot (THE TOUGHEST CONFERENCE) what the conference means to college football? Auburn is not Vanderbilt people ... I am a DIE-HARD TENNESSEE fanatic, but, I pick A.U. to win over a decent U.T. team this year and I'm not from the plains, I'm from the Smokies!

Good choice for Univ. of El-Intercepted Paso for No. 1. Their stadium is so close to Mexico, they should just convert it to use for soccer only.

Woo hoo UTEP is finally No. 1! Too bad its No. 1 on your Bottom 10. When people mention UTEP football in El Paso you're sure to get a laugh. It's even hard for me to imagine that they lost to a division I-AA team by that much. I mean, we won the WAC title just 3 years ago and now we are the lauging stock of the country (again). If if wasn't for the free beer at tailgate parties I wouldn't even show my face at the games. Thank you for recognizing our football team (at least we get some exposure).

Before you give Buffalo too much credit, take note that Iowa's starters left the game for good halfway through the 2nd quarter with a 35-0 lead. Iowa got 67 players into the game!

Sic'em Bears
The most underrated team in the Bottom 10 has to be the Baylor Bears. How are they not getting consideration for the No. 1 spot! Had it not been for an early season goof-up against Kansas last year, the Bears would have an all-time best conference losing streak of 37, with a great chance to push the record to 45 by the end of this year. Not to mention the fact they haven't won a game on the road in over 3 years! Maybe they'll receive the consideration they deserve next week when SMU wins the pillow fight of the week in Waco.

Renovations to stadium: $2,200,000
New coach to turn program around: $1,000,000
Advertising for upcoming season: $3,500,000
Losing to North Texas 52-14: Priceless
There are some teams that can't compete, but for the truly bad there's only Baylor.

Baylor football is bad. The administration knows it, the students know it, and the alumni know it. My theory is that it is totally unfair for a small, private school like Baylor to be placed in the Big 12. We can't compete with the football factories like UT and A&M (although the Aggies aren't looking spectacular this year either). Baylor should be moved into a different conference so our games will look less like a college team playing the Junior Varsity of a I A high school. Keep your spirit up Bears! Sic 'em!

And the nominees are ...
I hate to admit it but I am a life-long fan of the Chicago Bears. Even though they are classisifed as a "professional" football team I do believe that with Kordell Stewart at the helm they deserve Bottom 10 consideration. They do have sharp uniforms though.

I have been going to Rice games for years and after last week's loss to Houston I can sense this squad is special. Keep the Owls in mind to break into the Bottom 10 soon.

Where is Carolina? In 25 years of going to Kenan Stadium, I have never seen a team fold up like the Heels did against Syracuse. While the offense held up their part, the defense showed no heart whatsoever. They are slow and get pushed around by opposing O-lines.Anthony Davis should be able to put up 300 when they travel to Madison.

I saw that Arizona's defense was on your "waiting list" for the Bottom 10. How about John Mackovic's preparation and pre-game speech? If they play against Oregon like they did against LSU, the offense will follow the defense to your waiting list.

Come on, the Sun Belt cupcakes are completely under represented. Where's the collection of Middle Tennessee State, La-Lafayette and Utah State (to go along with La-Monroe and Idaho) I'm sure that outside of beating each other, those five teams will total only 5 additional wins ... if they're lucky!!!

You should include an ESPN announcer or studio guy. Every week one of those guys makes a joke out of himself. You could also give a yearly award for that honor. Last year's winner, hands down, Trev Alberts for picking the Big Ten to lose every bowl game and then lamely opining that "maybe the Big Ten is better than we (who is "we") thought. I see he's at it again in his chatroom by the way.

Just a thought
You could make it a lot easier to put out by calling it "K-State's schedule" or "Teams K-State hopes to play soon". I hope Snyder doesn't know about this thing or he will be calling to set them up.
