SAN DIEGO -- San Diego State football coach Tom Craft kicked four players off the team Tuesday for undisclosed rules violations.
Tight end Sione Fifita, defensive lineman Freddie McCutcheon, offensive lineman Danny Negrete and tight end Adam Watson were kicked off the team, the school said Tuesday.
Fifita would have been a redshirt junior who had yet to play at San Diego State after redshirting his first year at the school. McCutcheon, who was entering his sophomore season, had not played since the 2002 season. Negrete made one career start. Watson was a senior who transferred to San Diego State from Arkansas State. He had one reception as an Aztec.
